More and more, policy makers are considering the untapped potential of a massive and diverse millennial generation. How does housing factor in to the conversation?

The America in 2015 community survey released by the Urban Land Institute revealed that 73% of millennials are very or somewhat likely to move in the next five years, and 63% of the millennial generation would like to live in a place where they do not need to use a car very often.

At the 2015 Housing Fact Book Luncheon, HousingWorks RI at Roger Williams University will host Maya Brennan, Vice President for Housing at the Urban Land Institute Terwilliger Center for Housing to share the findings from the America in 2015 community survey and millennial attitudes towards housing. The luncheon will also feature a panel conversation with prominent millennials in Rhode Island to discuss not only housing challenges here, but the influence millennials wield in the overall housing market.
