National Housing Conference

Children across the country are heading back to school.  However, for many, insufficient family incomes and a lack of an adequate supply of affordable housing means that in addition to homework and tests, many children and their families will be worrying about where they will live or how they will pay the rent.  Extensive research has shown how important stable and affordable housing and neighborhood quality are to children's educational outcomes. What exactly are the links between housing and education? And how can local housing providers, educators and others work together to improve outcomes for children?

This webinar will describe the key links between housing and education and highlight ways people are working to improve educational outcomes for children through housing and community development policies and programs.

This webinar is generously sponsored by the National Association of Realtors®.

In addition to being able to watch live, all registrants will receive a follow-up email with links to presentations and a video recording after the webinar. Find archived webinars on the NHC website.
