Lessons from Baltimore’s Sustainable Communities Initiative

This webinar convenes a group of experts who have been working in support of resident access to jobs, quality education, affordable housing, health care, and other opportunities in Baltimore. Panelists will reflect on the process and lessons learned in the creation of Baltimore’s 2015 Regional Plan for Sustainable Development, which aimed to improve the area’s sustainability while decreasing social disparities. They will also discuss some of the challenges and opportunities of advancing cross-sector drivers for change which are highlighted in the new report, Toward an Equitable Region: Lessons from Baltimore’s Sustainable Communities Initiative.
